del Litoral, Plastlit S.A.
was founded on November the 13th 1969 as a small industrial enterprise
for the manufacturing of flexible packages.
Its
major goal during the first years was to put in the market a quality
product, safe and competitive, goal which was achieved thanks to
an inner organization based on a technicians group which allowed
to keep control of every production stage and latter commercialization.
In
between the years 1972 and 1975, Plastlit already showed its potential
to grow into the biggest flexible packages producer in Ecuador,
reason why it started a radical transformation, upgrading its equipment
and increasing its plastic products targeted to the food and industrial
sectors. |

Later
our company started a complete line for the manufacturing of dispensable
products, so the divisions of injection, lamination in monolayers and
multiple layers, extrusion by lamination, blowing process, plumbing, raffia
sacks, polypropylene films and PVC with PVDC applications. Nowadays Plastlit
is a totally integrated Ecuadorian industry.

Currently
Plastlit is located in a 40.000 Mts. (431.000 square foot) area
in which a new challenge for the area of commercialization and sales
is complemented, continuing with an aggressive orientation based
in launching new products in order to renew its image in both the
national and international market, since our products are exported
to different countries in the north, center and south of America.
Plastlit
is inserted in the new production concepts, such as: Industrial
security, Quality control, Good manufacturing standards, among others.
Additionally, Plastlit has a strong orientation towards promoting
its production technology to standards compatible with the international
industry. This brief history of Plastlit lets us appreciate the
existence of a valuable effort and dedication of entrepreneurs,
professionals and workers. |
